Lexington News

In all its simplicity Lexington News is a diary in a magazine format. It is about me, for me and by me. It started as a way of keeping the creativity I had after leaving art school, but ended up having an almost therapeutic effect. The issues are between 12 and 20 pages and are texts, ideas and thoughts from a timeframe of two to three weeks, either in retrospect or from the present. There are currently six issues, which all are available on request. I used a simple grid layout and a color scheme based on each individual issue's front page.

The logo is inspired by theme parks and ice cream shops as I wanted it to have a very playful feel to it. I also wanted it to be a contrast to Helvetica Neue, which I use in the actual magazine.

From August 2019.
